I am a proud Australian, have seen a fair bit of the world, but to me Sydney, my home, is the best place to be. It gets a bit too hot and humid in the summer for my liking, but for the rest of the year its climate is comfortable and rarely goes to extremes.
I started writing seriously rather late in life, my first novel One Step at a Time being published just before my 79th birthday. Coming up later this year is my latest effort - Transitions, set in Sydney and London (as was my previous one) - covering the life, loves and misdemeanors of the women in the Sherwood family. Much happened in the world and in their lives in the period covered - from 1942 to 1958.
